PR Contact also deals in high profile events, which over the past few years have included for Dame Elizabeth Taylor a number of AIDS/HIV fund-raising and awareness events including a BFI hosted Gala dinner and a Royal Albert Hall musical tribute evening. The company also acted for Liza Minnelli handling the legendary singer’s come-back European tour in spring 2002 as well as taking charge of publicity for Liza’s highly-publicised wedding which took place in New York in 2002.

Most recently the company has been engaged to handle worldwide PR for the Nelson Mandela 46664 Aids Foundation. For the organization it has handled international publicity for events in London, South Africa, Spain and as far afield as Tromso, Norway.  Most recently, July 2009, it celebrated Nelson Mandela Day with an all star line-up concert at New York’s Radio City Music Hall which gained front page coverage the world over.
